Man Locked Up After Standoff | News

WOLF TOWNSHIP — Police in Lycoming County arrested a man after a standoff.

Troopers said Robert Lyons, 45, was at a home in Wolf Township, near Hughesville Saturday, and got into a fight with his girl friend and choked her.

She got away and called police.

When cops arrived, they said Lyons was on the porch pointing a gun at them.

Troopers said Lyons calmed down and surrendered and later, authorities say they found 17 guns in the home.

Officers said that because of his previous criminal record, Lyons should not have had any guns.

He is locked up in the Lycoming County prison.
